Maya Poplyansky is a licensed optometrist with a focus on medical eye care. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry, graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. She received her Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Poplyansky specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and ocular surface disease, as well as treating emergency eye care and pre and post-operative surgical care/co-management.
She is fluent in English and Hebrew. She also speaks conversational Spanish. She is the recipient of the Dr. Mark Feder Scholarship for Clinical Excellence in Primary Care and the Eschenbach Award for Excellence in Low Vision.
