We are hiring an Optometrist
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery. The Optometrist will also educate patients on proper eye care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care. This role is located in Elizabeth, NJ.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license
- Experience in performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing a wide range of eye conditions
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Ability to provide patient education on eye health and preventive care
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advances in optometry.
