Dr. Saveren Scannapiego is an ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and external diseases of the eye as well as cataract surgery and treatment of glaucoma. With over 35 years of experience, he was one of the first eye surgeons in New Jersey to use the newest femtosecond laser for cataract surgery and pioneered the latest stitchless pterygium with graft surgery. Dr. Shawn R. Klein is an Ophthalmologist and Partner of Klein & Scannapiego MD PA, specializing in Refractive Surgery (LASIK and PRK) and Corneal Disease. Dr. Shawn Klein is one of New Jersey’s very few Cornea-fellowship trained LASIK surgeons who routinely performs complex cataract and multi-focal implant surgeries. Read more>>

Dr. Burrows is a surgeon and the retinal consultant of Klein and Scannapiego. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2001. He served residencies at New York Hospital Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University as well as a fellowship of Vitreoretinal Surgery at University of South Florida Eye Institute. Dr. Gordon joined Klein and Scannapiego in 2009. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from State College of Optometry, State University of New York in 1975 and has practiced as an optometrist in New York and New Jersey for over 35 years. Dr. Tseng is a native of California, where she attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies. She moved to the New York area to attend the State University of New York College of Optometry. She very much enjoyed rotations there in primary eye care, including pediatrics and specialty contact lenses.
